The artist “Char, Charannatan Tanachoteporamat” has recently found a peaceful path to release her emotions trapped for seven years during her entire art career. Barely had Char expressed her true feelings through her artworks, although her repressed emotions were too intense. Eventually, the abstract painter could not escape from her own natural kind. Evince is therefore the first collection that beautifully delineates her emotional expression. This begins with one situation that hit her differently. The artist could feel this so intensely, deep down in her soul. Her unfamiliarity with strong emotions finally woke her intuition to the deepest level.

“I sit with my feelings as a human being. And this introduces me to non-judgmental feelings of self-acceptance and self-honesty,” Char said.

Later, she realized that both positive and negative emotional events induced her mixed feelings. Admittedly, it is difficult to deal with these conflicting emotions. Rather than continuously suppressing what is in her mind, the artist visualizes her unexplainable emotions through artful brush strokes and vibrant colors. Her paintings pave the way for her emotional awareness, leading Char to clarify her mind and define her mixed feelings as the ‘X’ feelings. ‘X’ suggests the meaningful reminder of how each feeling arises from personal experience.
